With scorching summers and cool wet winters serving as the inspiration behind such detail, this set features a washed-out, sun-bleached exterior against rich gray tones and bright white elements creating the backdrop for deep, crackling, splitting in-the-woods bark. Weathered Oak Jumbo
Forty years ago, a young boy was hiking through the Red Vermilion Cliffs on the Arizona-Utah border when him and his family came across a scrub oak that had been struck down by Mother Nature. The sheer awe and beauty of this lighting struck oak would leave a lifelong impression on the young boy’s mind. In October of 2011, the same scrub oak was rediscovered laying in the same spot that it had been 40 years earlier – only more beautiful than ever. The boy, now a man with a family of his own, backpacked the logs of the fallen oak out of the canyon to be casted, painted, and enjoyed in your home today.

Arizona Weathered Oak Charred
The Arizona Weathered Oak Charred collection brings a new style and organic beauty to the Native Series by adding an additional step to our already innovative process. After our Log Hunter selects the perfect set, our craftsmen notch the center of the logs and set them ablaze – making the fire burn through and creating a stunning scorched front. Once the logs are cooled, they are casted into a mold that delicately captures the charred ends before our artist brings the casted logs to life by painting them to look as if they were burned in your own fireplace.

Quaking Aspen
Once upon a time, the perfect set of Quaking Aspen timber was discovered in the backwoods of the Northern Arizona Forest by our trusty Log Hunters. This was a truly exciting find, as this stunning variety of tree is named after and known for the mesmerizing fluttering effect its delicate leaves create as they blow in the wind, giving it the appearance that the tree is “quaking” or “trembling”.
