Sales and Administrative Office Assistant
Full time position available in Aurora, IL
$19-$22 / hour plus sales commission opportunity
Southwest Fireplace is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant and Receptionist at our Aurora, Illinois showroom. We are a family owned business that proudly services homeowners, builders, and remodel professionals for all of their fireplace and patio needs throughout the Chicagoland area. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for answering and directing phone calls, updating orders and technicians’ daily paperwork, assist with basic marketing campaigns, inventory control, data entry and general organizational tasks. Other aspects of this role may include various opening and closing showroom tasks, sales (no cold calls), general administrative tasks, customer service, and social media assistance.

Qualifications or Experience we are looking for:

- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Office experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, friendly and outgoing persona
- The ability and desire to work well in a team environment
- Ability to multi task with great attention to detail
- Advanced computer knowledge i.e. Microsoft Office (Word and Excel Spreadsheets), basic graphic design, and data entry
- Proper phone etiquette

Showroom Hours: ** In-Office (No WFH)***:
- Monday – Wednesday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM and Thursday – Saturday: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: Hourly + Commission Opportunity = $50K – 65K with sales experience and effort
